Jiangsu Yuantong Electric builds every transformer in its own factories in Hai’an, Jiangsu: a 10,530 m² plant running since 2008 and a 53,000 m² intelligent factory completed in 2025. Core cutting, winding, casting, assembly and testing all take place on site.

Core and Coil Production

Our factory is at No. 68 Xiyuan Avenue, Hai’an Industrial Park, Hai’an, Jiangsu, China, in the Yangtze River Delta north of Shanghai. We can arrange pick-up from Shanghai or Nantong for factory visits.

Factory Questions from Buyers
Yes. Cores, coils, tanks and final assembly are produced in our own factories in Hai’an, Jiangsu, China, and every unit is tested in our in-house 220 kV test workshop before shipment.
We accept orders from one unit, so you can test a sample before placing a project order.
Typical lead time is 15 working days to one month, depending on the specification and quantity.
Yes. Our original factory alone can produce 3,960 dry-type transformers, 2,250 oil-immersed transformers and 285 box-type substations per year, and our 53,000 m² intelligent factory adds capacity from 2026. We have supplied 1,500 distribution transformers to Kenya in one export programme.
Yes. Voltage, capacity, vector group, cooling, accessories and nameplate can all be built to your specification, to IEC or GB standards or the standard named in your tender.
