Yunfu Green Mining Substation Transformers

Oil-immersed and dry-type transformers for the China Power Construction (Yunfu) green mining substation, 2022.

For the China Power Construction (Yunfu) green mining substation in Guangdong, we supplied two 16,000 kVA SZ20 oil-immersed main transformers and four 200 kVA cast-resin dry-type transformers. The main transformers step 35 kV grid power down to 10.5 kV for mining loads, and the dry-type units supply 0.4 kV site services.

Six transformers, from 35 kV main supply to 0.4 kV site services, for one mining substation.

Scope of Supply

2 × SZ20-16000/35/10.5 oil-immersed transformers, 16,000 kVA, 35/10.5 kV, on-load tap changer
1 × SCB10-200/35/0.4 dry-type transformer, 200 kVA, 35/0.4 kV
3 × SCB10-200/10.5/0.4 dry-type transformers, 200 kVA, 10.5/0.4 kV

The on-load tap changers keep the 10.5 kV bus stable as mining loads change. The cast-resin dry-type units are oil-free and suited to indoor auxiliary rooms.

How We Deliver Each Project

Every Yuantong project follows the same controlled process, from technical review to delivery.

Requirements & Design

We review capacity, voltage, standard and site conditions, then complete the electrical design with computerized design software and 3D structural modelling.

Manufacturing

Cores, coils and assemblies are produced in our Hai'an, Jiangsu factory, including silicon steel cutting, coil winding, vacuum casting and drying.

Factory Testing

Every unit is tested in our test hall and receives 100% inspection of appearance and function before release.
04

Packing & Delivery

Units are packed in export wooden cases and delivered by road in China or shipped by sea from Shanghai.

Standards & Quality

Our transformers are designed and built to international and Chinese national (GB) standards as specified by the customer. Our management systems are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and our low-voltage products hold CE attestation of conformity under the Low Voltage and EMC directives.
