Yuantong Opens 53,000 m² Intelligent Transformer Factory
In 2025, Jiangsu Yuantong Electric completed a new 53,000 m² intelligent transformer factory in Hai’an, Jiangsu. The factory automates production lines, material logistics and information flow. It focuses on oil-immersed transformers and box-type substations, and it will significantly increase our total transformer output from 2026.

What the New Factory Adds
The new factory adds dedicated capacity for oil-immersed transformers, box-type substations, medium- and high-voltage transformers and special transformers. Automated production lines, an intelligent warehouse and connected data flow improve efficiency and keep quality consistent from one unit to the next.
Current Production Capacity
Our original factory can produce up to 3,960 dry-type transformers, 2,250 oil-immersed transformers and 285 box-type substations per year. In 2025 we produced 4,602 units in total. The two factories will operate together, giving customers more capacity and shorter scheduling for large orders.
