PAD-MOUNTED TRANSFORMERS

Compact Pad-Mounted Transformers for Underground Distribution

Yuantong builds single-phase and three-phase pad-mounted transformers, including ZGS11-H and YB-12 combined units, that install on a concrete pad at ground level. The transformer, switching and protection are housed in one tamper-resistant enclosure, making them a compact choice for residential areas, commercial sites, solar farms and underground cable networks. Every unit is routine-tested before it ships.

FAQ

Pad-Mounted Transformer FAQ

What is the difference between a pad-mounted transformer and a box-type substation?

A pad-mounted transformer combines the transformer and its protection in one compact tank-and-cabinet unit. A box-type substation is a larger enclosure with separate HV switchgear, transformer and LV distribution compartments. Tell us your site and load, and we recommend the right type.

Yes. We supply single-phase and three-phase pad-mounted transformers. Send us the rating and voltage for a quotation.

Yes. The cabinet colour, dimensions and cable entry can be designed to your specification.

The minimum order is one unit. Standard ratings typically ship 15–30 days after the order and deposit are confirmed; custom designs depend on the specification.

We design to IEC or GB standards, or to the standard named in your specification. A routine test report is supplied with every unit.
